Trust - five small letters, but they mean a huge amount. It was from my Grandfather who was also a hand engraver I found my interest in engraving which then inspired me into the trade. He taught me the basics of hand engraving and told me that building trust was the most important thing in any job. My business is founded on that simple principle. Rest assured, relax, and breathe easy. You are in very safe hands.

After a year studying engraving at the London Guildhall University, my engraving skills grew by starting a 6 year apprenticeship working at Asprey (later to become Asprey & Garrard) the Queens Crown Jewellers in London.

Whilst working through my apprenticeship i have been the winner of many of The Goldsmith Craft & Design Council awards including The Bergin Award and have also been fortunate enough to work on many famous sporting awards including the Zurich Rugby Trophy, Wimbledon Trophies, The Augusta Golf Open Trophy and a hatful of Ascot trophies during my time at Asprey's.

In 2004, my apprenticeship was completed where i became a Freeman of the City of London and went on to become a fellow of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths.

R.A.H Engraving Ltd was launced in 2005 where engraving work is now carried out for private individuals plus many well established jewellery, silverware and antique stores
